Jack commenced his dance training in the Blue Mountains at the age of five with Classe' Dance Academy with Susan Weule and former principal artist of The Australian Ballet Garth Welch. In 2003 Jack studied by correspondence, allowing him to dance full-time for two years. During this time he competed in many eisteddfods and collected a number of awards. In 2005 Jack left the Blue Mountains and moved to Melbourne where he began full-time training at The Australian Ballet School and continued his academic studies at the Victorian College of the Arts. Jack toured with The Dancers Company in 2008 and 2009 before joining The Australian Ballet's corps de ballet in 2010. You may not know... Jack's favourite item of clothing is his skinny jeans. |
