Brisbane-born Jessica Fyfe has been dancing since the age of three. In 2001 she moved to Newcastle with her family, and it was there, at the Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy, that she decided on ballet as her career. In 2006 Jessica was accepted into The Australian Ballet School, and in levels 5 and 7 received the Award for Excellence while completing her VCE. In 2008 Jessica represented The Australian Ballet School at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland and received a consolation prize in the finals. Later that year, she competed at the Beijing International Ballet Competition, where she was placed fifth overall. Upon graduating Dux from The Australian Ballet School in 2009 Jessica performed as a guest artist, dancing Odette at the Putrajaya Arts Festival in Malaysia. She joined The Australian Ballet in 2010. Jessica was the recipient of the Paulette Carson Scholarship, which funded her first year in the corps de ballet. Repertoire highlights
