John-Paul Idaszek grew up in the small town of Rooty Hilly NSW and began ballet, jazz and tap lessons at the age three before deciding to pursue ballet as a career at age twelve. He trained at McDonald College for two years and joined The Australian Ballet School in 2004, going on to successfully audition for the main company in 2007. Repertoire highlights
