Timothy Harford was born in Perth and moved to Melbourne at the age of 14. He started swimming at the age of four and then moved onto dancing, football, cricket and basketball until he finally committed to ballet at the age of ten, studying at the Graduate School of Dance at Perth Modern School. He received the Simon Lee Foundation Scholarship in 2005 and was accepted into The Royal Ballet White Lodge Summer School the same year. He was accepted into The Australian Ballet School in 2006; in his time there he received the Level Five Encouragement Award and the Level Seven Award for Excellence. Tim toured with The Dancers Company in 2009 and 2010 and joined the Australian Ballet in 2011. You may not know... Tim likes playing guitar and football and is learning Japanese. |
