The Australian Ballet, in partnership with Bundanon Trust, will conduct a series of workshops for local and regional Primary schools and professional development sessions for teachers.

Out There engages young people in a range of skill development and expressive activities that highlight the joy of learning dance. All students will participate in a movement workshop, Room to Move and attend a demonstration/discussion forum, Talking Doing Dancers. The content is selected to complement core values of the overall curriculum with emphasis on physical, language and social development. Out There is taught and performed by a talented ensemble of two female and two male dance presenters from The Australian Ballet’s Dance Education Ensemble. Visual arts workshops will also be conducted each day and delivered by Bundanon’s Educators.

Out There’s success has increased the scope for the ensemble to increase the number of locations and schools it will visits and The Australian Ballet is delighted to be working in collaboration with Bundanon’s Education Programme to provide a programme that provides a complementary visual and kinetic art experience for young people and teachers in the Shoalhaven area.
