Ballet is a fascinating art form that's both exciting to do, and to watch. Explore our Education pages to learn more about the history of ballet, music for dance, our dancers, what happens at a ballet company behind the scenes, and much more. There's also lots of information on becoming a dancer, rehearsals, choreographic styles, and The Australian Ballet School. Just browse the tabs to your left.
Learning is a lifelong adventure and for some, discovering dance can be life-changing. Our 2010 Education Programme has an array of introductory and participatory events for children and adults - open classes, special days, workshops and tours. We also have fascinating in-theatre programmes where you can see dancers in practice and performance, informative talks and forums which give you greater insight into our performances and behind-the-scenes activities.
All 2010 Education events are available for purchase via our website and The Australian Ballet Customer Services department.
For more information download a SA brochure, or VIC/NSW brochure or request brochures for the SA or VIC/NSW area(s).
