Who’s your favourite dancer? The nominees for the 2008 Telstra Ballet Dancer Award have been announced, giving you the chance to vote for your favourite dancer of The Australian Ballet and win!

Conceived in 2003 to support the aspirations of our young dancers, the Telstra Ballet Dancer Award encourages excellence among the ballet’s elite, with the winner awarded a $20,000 cash prize, provided by Telstra. The six exceptional talents, nominated by The Australian Ballet artistic staff and Principal Artists, will be judged on the artistic quality of their work over the course of a full performance year, as well as their perceived potential, personal development and their support of other dancers.

Vote for your favourite dancer
A People’s Choice Award, worth $5,000 cash, will also be presented to the dancer who receives the most votes from the public.
