The Australian Ballet has collaborated with award-winning illustrator Kat Macleod on a limited edition T-shirt. Created exclusively for the company’s Ballet V Fashion project, the T features Kat’s ultra-feminine designs printed on soft-and-stretchy grey marl. Scoop necked and gently nipped in at the waist, the T is just the thing as we pirouette into spring.
About the designer
Kat Macleod is an award winning illustrator and founder of Melbourne graphic design studio, Ortolan. Kat has illustrated several books, including the multi-award winning Bird (2002, 3 Deep Design), and What on earth are you wearing? (2010, Penguin). Her illustrations have appeared Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and The Age. She runs Ortolan with two of her best friends, specialising in fashion, branding and the arts.
