The Australian Ballet's Brisbane performances take place in Lyric Theatre at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

Cloaking and bags

For the safety and comfort of QPAC patrons, all backpacks and large bags will have to be checked into our cloakroom prior to entering the theatre. This service is free. Please allow extra time to make use of cloakroom facilities.

Access for patrons using a wheelchair

QPAC have dedicated seating locations for patrons using a wheelchair. Please inform The Australian Ballet Customer Services team or Qtix Box Office of your requirements when booking tickets. There are designated drop-off zones for patrons with mobility difficulties at Grey Street (for Lyric Theatre and Concert Hall), Russell Street (for Playhouse) and outside the Cremorne Theatre entrance.

Assisted listening devices

All theatres have Sennheiser Infra-Red Sound Reinforcement Systems for patrons with hearing impairments. Please enquire when booking. Selected performances will be audio described and professionally signed by an Auslan interpreter. To find out more, please enquire when booking.

For the comfort and convenience of all patrons, latecomers will be admitted into the theatre at a suitable break in the programme.

Photography and audio/video recording

It is strictly prohibited to take photos or audio/video recordings at any performance by The Australian Ballet.

Mobile phones

Mobile phones must be turned off prior to a performance.

Venue terms & conditions

All patrons are bound by the conditions of entry printed on the reverse of their ticket. Please read carefully. Youth 26 years and under, children 17 years and under, seniors and pensioners must provide appropriate proof of entitlement when booking at a concession rate. Proof of entitlement should also be carried when attending performances. All patrons, irrespective of age, must hold a valid ticket to gain admission to a performance. If a member of your subscription group holds a concession ticket for a performance but is unable to attend, we are happy for you to give the ticket to a friend. Please note, however, that an upgrade fee may be applicable if the ticket is being used by a patron not eligible for the same concession. Upgrades can be made any time up to performance date, including the day of the performance, at the Qtix Box Office only.
