Out There - The Australian Ballet in schools brought to you by Samsung
Out There - The Australian Ballet in schools has the core aim of giving young Australians the opportunity to participate in dance.
The in-schools program is led by the Australian Ballet Education Unit and includes workshops, demonstrations and discussion forums to reinforce the arts outcomes of the curriculum.
In 2014, The Australian Ballet Education was delighted to welcome Samsung Electronics as the Presenting Partner of Out There.
Outreach and equity
Out There prioritises schools and communities disadvantaged by socio-economic, distance and cultural factors. This is made possible by the generosity of philanthropic organisations, sponsors, and Patrons and Supporters of The Australian Ballet.
We welcome enquiries from Principals and teachers; if you would like to book an incursion or discuss the possibility of taking part in Out There contact:

The Out There program has travelled far and wide across Australia and reached 6 states and two territories. In 2015, the Dance Education Ensemble will deliver workshops and performances to over 110 schools and 21000 students.
With assistance from a Victorian Government grant, generous sponsors, philanthropic individuals and organisations, the program has grown exponentially since 2006.
